ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Responsible for a wide variety of cleaning and general custodial services within County facilities as directed.
- Empties trash and removes to outside trash containers. Changes lining in trash containers as needed.
- Dusts and cleans desks, chairs, cabinets, telephones, and other furniture/equipment on a regular schedule as directed.
- Cleans window sills and dust mops tile floors on a regular basis as directed.
- Vacuums carpets on a daily basis and spot clean carpets as needed. Wet mops tile floors as needed.
- Thoroughly cleans window blinds within offices approximately once every month.
- Within restrooms, performs the following duties on a daily basis: empty trash, sweep floor, clean wash basins, clean toilet facilities, clean walls on bathroom stalls, clean mirrors and wet mop the floor.
- As needed, replaces soap and paper product supplies in restrooms and sanitizes restroom floor.
- On staircases, sweeps and wet mops stairs on a regular basis as directed.
- Cleans vending machines, cabinets, doors, bulletin boards, frames and glass cases as needed.
- Cleans inside of windows in facilities as needed.
- Monitors level of supplies available and informs supervisor when new supplies are required.
- Employee must perform all duties with minimal supervision.
- May be required to work irregular hours, overtime, evenings or weekends.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Three months previous custodial/janitorial experience preferred.
Certification, Skills and Licenses:
- Must demonstrate literacy sufficient to read and comprehend labels and instructions.
- Must have valid New Mexico driver's license if required to operate County vehicles.
